Participation Question:
It's hard sometimes not to be consumed by worry; worrying about the
state of the world, our families, our grade on the next assignment,
deadlines, the upcoming election, etc.
Our friend Pluto talks about worry-busters. Pluto suggests a number of worry-busters
like playing with a four-legged friend, drawing a portrait of them
(because you can't worry and draw at the same time), practicing to type
the word lollipop with your left hand (apparently it's one of the only
words in the English language that can be typed entirely with one's
right hand - can you think of others?), or coming up with ten-letter
words using only the top letters on the keyboard (you can reuse letters,
according to Pluto).
What are your worry-busters? If you would like, please share your ideas
and suggestions with your classmates in the comments below.
(And as with all participation questions, if you do not wish to answer, feel
free to tell me anything - your favorite food, your pet's name, etc.)
And just a few photos from my daily walks:
